I tested it at home a couple of times but when I took it camping for the first time the igniter for the second burner wouldn’t work.

I have not used the stove yet. I can say it’s a huge upgrade from my old Coleman stove. Love the cast iron top, that right there is a game changer. Love the built in carry handle. This stove is the Cadillac of camp stoves.

I’m very disappointed in this purchase. On the very first use the griddle plate cracked! Please see images attached to this review. Now I don’t have a griddle plate because any liquid (I.e. eggs) just slides through crack dropping directly on the burner. I’m equally concerned about this happening to grill plate too when I use it next. It’s possible I suppose I just received a bad batch of the cast iron griddle/grill plates. Coleman please replace them if you can with a non-defective set. Thanks.

Grill is still only a few weeks old, but really like it so far. I only gave it a 4 because the starter on one of the burners isn’t working after just a few uses. Have to use a lighter to start it now.

Great stove with good heat control. I had no problems with using this stove for all 3 meals, and percolating coffee in the morning. It took about 4-5 minutes to bring my percolator to a boil. I seasoned the cast iron along with the cooking grate that goes over the burners and it all cleans easily. Very pleases with my purchase.

I havent used this stove yet but out of the box I give it a 3 just for QC.. The burners were bent to an awkward angle not perpendicular to the plane of the stove bottom. I was able to bend them by hand to a more level position but for the amount charged for this stove, there should be NO QC issues.

Took it camping and it was great. I appreciate that the cast iron plates had a carry bag, I just wish the whole thing came with a carry bag that had pockets for the plates and maybe a spot or two for propane bottles, that you didn’t have to buy separately. We didn’t season our plates before going, (oops,) but had no trouble cooking on them. I do wish this also had some sort of feet to keep it from directly resting in whatever surface you are using it on, but all in all I’m happy with our purchase!

Good quality, easy handling. Knobs large and allow for good adjustment of the flames. Easy to clean. Carrying handle okay.

We have had a Coleman white gas stove so long it may have belonged to my parents. After years of service it was time to replace. This new propane version fits in with our square drop Hiker Trailer and our practice of camping in primitive sites, miles off road. The griddle and 'grilling' cast iron adds a new unexpected dimension. Simple, dependable, built upon a classic that needs no improvement—

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this stove on the road for work and camping. Also have a culinary degree. This thing is awesome! Have had a lot of different grills and stoves but this one is king. Temperature control is precise and no problem searing a steak or simmering some veggies. Highly recommend the Coleman 1900

Really cool and fits my guest for happiness by going back in time - somewhat.

I love my Coleman 1990 stove! It’s beautifully designed, rugged, and the materials selected guarantee me many years of service. I like the higher BTUs, the versatility in cooking methods. The splitting up of the cast iron into two separate cooking surfaces. The bag that’s included to carry those surfaces. I also like the engineering design of having a spot to securely store the propane tanks copper line. This really is Coleman’s top of the line- and the last stove I’ll ever need to buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an older coleman stove and glad I did. It looks great, slimmer and lighter weight than my old stove but has all the features I need, cast iron grates, cast iron grill and griddle plates. All these features allow me to consolidate from hauling around a grill and stove to just this one.
