Great Cooler!
I bought a couple of these Coleman 70Qt coolers. Overall it’s very durable and does a great job keeping things cold, even on longer trips. It’s sturdy, holds a lot, and is surprisingly lightweight for its size, which makes it much easier to carry and load. Great for camping, beach days, or group gatherings. The only downside is the hinges they feel like they could be made stronger for long term heavy use. Other than that, it’s a reliable cooler and I’d still recommend it.

Great Exaggeration!
We bought this cooler because Coleman has been around for yrs and the description said it would hold ice up to 5 days in 90 degrees. Not true! We have the cooler in our kitchen where the temp stays at 73 degrees and it will keep ice for only 2 days. Great exaggeration!

A Basic Ice Box
In Arizona Summer you can expect overnight ice retention only... at best. Coastal California 3 days isn't uncommon with little melt off. The drain valve is a little high so you may be turning it upside down to complete the task.

Held Up Surprisingly Well Against A Hungry Bear
We purchased this cooler for camping trips and it was the perfect size for us. The cooler was great and kept everything cold and even kept the ice frozen for the whole weekend. On our last night of camping (just 2 days after purchasing the cooler), a bear stole the cooler. The cooler held up surprisingly well against the hungry bear! But unfortunately, we had to retire the cooler early due to the damage from the bear. All in all, pleased with the cooler’s size and durability! We will definitely continue purchasing Coleman coolers.

Durable And It Works!
Little on the heavy side but I like it because it’s super sturdy. Often doubles as an extra seat. I’ve kept drinks in here for entire weekends without issue. Keeps them cool. Can’t complain!
