Purchased as spares for my northern Nova lantern. So far , no problems with burning them in or with the lantern in operation. I strongly suggest reading the instructions on the mantel packet and burn them in before lighting the lantern.

After reading a couple reviews saying these #95 mantels are fragile I had to respond. I think they are the sturdiest mantels ever made.
