This cooler was clearly dented when it was packed up. The box was intact as was the packing material. I’m very disappointed in Coleman. At this price point I did not expect to receive a dented cooler! I wouldn’t recommend buying this product from Dick’s, Next time out, we will be considering other options. These coolers work great. It’s our second in the same style. The first one is almost 25 years old. We keep them in our cars to use when we grocery shop. We removed the bottle opener and out the screws back in, so we don’t have to worry about it messing up the car.

Great Cooler. Worthless Bottle Opener.
I really like the Coleman steel belted 54qt. cooler. Looks great and appears well made. It keeps ice well too. One big problem though is the shoddy little bottle opener. It is total crap and will nor properly open bottles. Coleman would do well to find a useable bottle opener and maybe even offer it as a replacement upgrade.

Would Buy Again If It Actually Locked
Locking mechanism sucks, would buy again but it wasn't good enough to spend that kind of money for it just be able to be pulled open
