Grill On The Go

The Coleman RoadTrip grill is really handy for camping, tailgates, or just grilling in the backyard. It heats up fast and cooks food evenly, which is awesome. I like that it’s easy to fold up and roll wherever you need it. The cooking surface is big enough for a bunch of burgers or veggies at once. It’s a little bulky, but for how much you can cook, it’s totally worth it.

Warranty Service

Friends gave me Excscursion Portable 2-burner propane gas bbq- for my birthday. After reading many reviews, I am thinking of selling it or keeping it, but I want to make sure that you provide warranty service. Since I am a single mother, I cannot afford to throw it away, so what should I do to ensure that the grill is under warranty and where should I go in case of an incident. Thank you.

This portable grill is easy to take with you on the go whether it’s for a camping trip, fishing trip or a tailgating adventure it’s easy to use. It does not take much assembly and is very easy to to clean. It cooks plenty of of food all one time.

Impossible To Buy Replacement Parts. Terrible Sit

Coleman is horrible. I have a RoadTrip 225 Grill and they make it virtually impossible to buy replacement parts. I have tried to find the burner inside and it is not reflected anywhere on this terrible site.

Great For Tailgating And Camping

Handle Broke, Low Is Too Hot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The low setting on this is way too hot. It chars anything you cook way before the inside can be cooked. So stuff like brats that take longer to cook than a burger get burnt. Also, the handle broke pretty easy so we cant even use it on the stand. We have to set it on a table.

Great Grill For Road Trips.

I was really excited when I received my Road Trip 225 grill. 3 burners for lots of different cooking needs, Outside ring /2, inside burner for slow, low cook temperatures. The cast grills season up really nicely with a smart cooking surface. It has a ring pan that you put water in that catches pretty much all of the grease and drippings. 2 side wings that have usable space for pans, cookware, spices. The space on the grill is much larger that any other portable grill that I have seen. It packs up and rolls really easily. Cleaning is simple and easy, especially with the removable ring pan. One last thing. Somehow after the first couple of uses I cross threaded where you connect the fuel tank. I contacted Coleman customer service. They were extremely helpfull with a solution that solved the issue! Thank You Coleman.

Cheap

Still works but it’s not the quality I expect from Coleman. I clean after every use and it has been used lightly. Maybe once every few weeks. The paint has come off the drip/water tray... but more importantly holes that look as if they were drilled and filled have formed so now it won’t even hold water like it is supposed to.

Rusting Out Water Pan

I bought this grill less than a year ago. By the end of season, the water pan was rusting I have not been able to find a replacement for the water pan looking all over the internet.

Not What It Used To Be

We had a portable Coleman that we used for years with no problem. However, this new model is not up to par. The gas hooks on the bottom, which is awkward and it's impossible to see the flame...and the flame also makes a sputtering sound. It does not "grill" well either. Maybe we just got a lemon but we're ready to toss this and buy another brand.

My Go To Grill For Camping !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Coleman grill to go for about ten seasons now. I can make everything from breakfast to lunch to dinner. I have never been let down by it and it has held up great. I always reccomend it to fellow campers and friends. I even bring it to all tailgate parties. I am a year round griller and this one is a great value.
