Easy To Use

The set up was a bit tricky but once it’s assembled you are good to go! Easy to use! Worked very well for our beach trip. Easy to clean up. Good material and hardware.

Coleman Portable Grill

The Coleman. Roadtrip 285 portable stand ip propane grill offers usability. I think it is a great little grill for camping or a tail gate party. Small enough to travel with and offers multiple features and upgrades you can add in alter easy setup and the grill gets heated up quickly!

Convenient And Reliable!

I have had my grill for 7 years now. I have not taken great care of it. It has been across the country 5 times and it still works great. I have the half-griddle side which is perfect for steak and eggs, or fajitas. I highly recommend this unit! The folding feature with the wheels allows for storage in an rv as well as dragging it through sand at the beach.

Hot In Here

Luv mine ability to collapse and roll under camper or in back of pick up is ideal. Side tables are great feature. Gets very hot or can run on low for some slow cooking can find perfect temp with gauge on lid Made well

It’s Okay But Not Convenient To Clean

I had high hopes for this grill. I like the portability and the brand in general. But it is very hard to clean and maintain. Burgers and chicken just cooked average but you do have to watch for flare ups or your meat will burn right up. It just wasn’t for me.

For a family of 4 who regularly camps, this is one of our favorite must haves! The compacted design lets us store it in our camper or truck. Takes no time to light and start cooking, and clean up is easy!

Great Buy!

We use this when we go camping each summer. This is our second one because as our family grows, so does our cooking space needs! Fits perfectly in our storage in our camper. It cooks evenly and everything turns out great!!

Still Ok

The engineering of removing the grease trap and requiring you to fill a water tray is horrible. Makes it far more difficult to use this as a roadtrip grill. however it is still a Coleman and the quality of cooking is still good so you only get 3 stars

Needs Improvement

Overly cumbersome and cheap materials. The wheels are a joke, made of plastic, won’t hold up long term given the weight of the unit. Also mine didn’t bolt in securely all the way. The locking mechanism is very flimsy, looks like an after thought. It kicks open and closes easily, so that’s good. Overall it’s too heavy and strangely shaped to be easily portable. The fact that the cast iron grill panels don’t lock or clamp to the inside makes me scared to roll it around with them inside. Not well thought out, needs more time in the design room.

Great Travel/camping Grill

Great for my slide out griddle in my camper. This is a great grill. I have an expensive grill with every bell and whistle but hate cleaning the beast. This is a great grill it has three knobs for temperature, a nice temp gage on the hood, easy to take anywhere, easy to clean, and cook on. There is a good amount of space to cook, two small pull out side tables and the grills are quality not flimsy wire. I absolutely love to grill and this is the best bang for your buck!!!

Must Have Grill

Awesome grill that works great and the ability to fold it up is really handy. Very portable which makes it a must have. Even heating is nice as well!

The Towing Handle Comes Off Very Easily

The towing handle comes off very easily. I can't us it to pull the grill. The tabs are not long enough or strong enough.
