Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the extra $$ After much debate I finally did buy this grill.... And I have to say it is worth the investment especially over the LXE model. Primarily because the lower end model is not rated to cook with the lid closed, this model however uses heavier duty materials so it can withstand the heat. (and believe me.... this thing can get up to over 800 degrees). Essentially you can believe all the reviews about the lower end model compared to this one with the exception of any problems regarding melting or warping. This grill does get hot, and requires monitoring until you get a decent feel for how it heats. You CANNOT cook on a "high" setting. Or on medium if you've spent too long pre-heating the grill. For how close the burners of the grill are, you are best to keep a low-medium for actual cooking otherwise you can expect a definite charred taste until you learn the curve in cooking times required of this grill. (on average a burger takes no more than 7 minutes total, but at this point in this scenario it was already significantly charred.) The only note i would caution is that when you're in the store, this grill does not look as big as it actually is.... When stored, many will find that it does take up a significant amount of space. Easily will fit in a car trunk but is not small by any means. (Highly recommend the storage case if you plan on using as a seasonal item, or the grill cover if it is sitting out on a balcony or patio).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really like it!! Easy to use and store. Will get to 700-800 degrees in 30 degree weather. Streakes and chops come out great. In cooler weather, need to clean before it cools down too much. But be careful not too hot. If you wait till grill is cold, you will have a hard time cleaning it up. Gas tanks last well enough depending on what you are cooking. Ignighter button on mine only works on one burner unless you wait for the grill to heat up a bit. Not too much an issue. Just use a long match or lighter on the second burner. May replace inginter at some point. I also have an electric grill. This one beats it hands down. Great size and weight. Love the fold down and rolling wheels features. Remember to empty and clean the drip pan after use or you may have a mess when rolling for storage, but easy to do. Bottom line, I love it. P.S. I live in a condo where normal larger tank gas grills are not allowed. This Colman is allowed with the small camping green tanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coleman Roadtrip LXX Grill review Read the reviews and compared this model to other grills and found this one to be what we needed for our travel trailer. We took it on a three day trip and cooked Hamburgers one night and the next night cooked Ribeyes steaks. The grill worked great and the food tasted great. The grill assembled quick and easy, was easy to store and move around. Set up was quick and the bottle still has more cookouts to go. Clean up was easy. I really will enjoy this grill for years to come!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully constructed grill I wanted to be able to move the grill around. Sets up and fold down easily. Love the thermostat. Side tables slide for extra room. Well put together. Easier to clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enjoyable This product is a good carry on grill. It's parts are easy to replace, although expensive. My only problem with this unit is the engineer who designed it to pull with the handle must only be 4ft tall or never tried to pull one. I am 5'7" and must bend over a lot to pull, not a great position to pull anything.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 20 gal tank problem The male tip on the regulator gas connection is not as long as the previous stove and grill regulators I have owned. Therefore cannot use my hose extensions and 20 gal tank

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great idea for the occasional cookout Swift delivery and very easy to assemble. Sets up to just the right height. This unit can indeed be folded and placed in the back cargo space of a sedan or SUV. You can run it without a gas hose using the bottles, or you can purchase the heavy duty hose and hook it up to a large tank the big grills use. It's simple, it is easy to cook on and clean. I keep it on the patio under a good cover and should last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not satisfied with product Very dissatisfied the grill burns everything I used it 3 times to have a fire in it below the burners ruining ignitor button one burner started to soot the grates and food. If it rains water goes right into grill over flowing grease trap which is a pain to remove and clean . I own many coleman products and love them which is why i bought this very dissapointed.
