I purchased this tent along with the 6-person version. Needed two sizes for the family. No complaints whatsoever. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I haven’t been out in the rain or storms with it yet so I can’t speak to its water handling. The tent sets up easily, the seams, poles, fabric and overall construction are robust and well designed. Would highly recommend this tent to anyone "car camping". Its not a Hiking tent obviously. Their Darkroom Technology is great, it truly does block out almost all of the sunlight.

Prone To Collapse

First time out camping with this tent on Lake Superior, and it collapsed in the middle of the night. See those bends in the poles between the "walls" and the "roof"? Yeah, they're prone to buckling at the first sign of a windy night. Not ideal.

Great For Sleeping In!

This tent has held up through numerous rain and wind storms. I love how dark this tent is so great for sleeping after a long night of watching the campfire. Easy setup by one or two people depending on skill level one person is plenty. Comes with an easy to store bag. Great quality with no leaks.

Leaky Corners

First trip out had heavy rain and all 4 corners leaked. Hoping it was just a faulty one. Would like to try a replacement.

Single Use Item?

It broke almost immediately. The pole that was intended to be attached broke at the base. We were able to duct tape it for our weekend camping trip but won’t be able to use it again.

Not A Durable Set Up !!

I purchased this tent late last year and the 2nd time I put the tent up the pole bent and broke when I was sleeping. Collapsing the tent on me in the deed of the night and leavening the tent unusable for the duration of the camping trip. It was easy to put up and put it away the first time and was great. It was a disappointment to me because a was usually impressed with Coleman products.

Waterproof!

We've camped in this tent the last 2 years and been caught both years in a bad rainstorm. Last year we had rain with 30-40 mph wind gusts. Not one drop of water got into the tent either year. I'd highly recommend this tent.

I Like It But….

I like this tent but as someone who uses a BiPap and camps are least once a month with my kids Scout Troop I really need the opening for my extension cord. If it is added to the dark room tent I would definitely buy another one. The dark room tent really does better than normal tents in the Florida heat!! I am really pleased with it. If they made a 2 person one I’d buy it for my scouts.

Disappointed

decent tent, darkroom tech is nice but the directions are absolutely miserable/ tetnt set up is not too bad but putting fly on is a terrible process that requires stretching things that look ready to rip. the way this tent style sets up i forsee it tearing apart far too soon, the straps to external poles are stressing the fabric. even after "widening" the carry bag there is no way i am getting both the tent and fly back in that terrible tiny bag. i expect better from coleman.

Roomy, Easy Setup, High Quality

Similar to a review posted about a month ago, the metal cuff for my tent pole also buckled. This is not a durable tent considering I've only used it 5 times since my purchase.
