Good For Bigger Groups

Used it in a weekend camping trip and there were no hiccups, works amazing

Durable For It’s Purpose

My fourth Coleman tent, these tents are good for short camping trips I’m guessing that was the intention. I use them in South America for 7-8 months at a time for work. Without water treatment you’ll get 4-5 months before water will soak through (with tarp above) treated 7-8 months (with tarp above) the climate is extreme humidity and extreme heavy rains (tropical) I can’t find the old Coleman weather tents they had back in the 80s-90s made out canvas cloth material, they last years! Now I have to purchase two tents every-time one for use other for backup. Yes there plenty of options but I use this brand cause I’ve had there products in the past and I still use it to this day Coleman 4M stove! And Coleman single 533 along with the kerosene single mantel lamps. Tough! So yes I’d recommend this tent 4 stars cause material could be thicker.

Great Purchase

Perfect tent for throwing up in the backyard in the summer. Easy set up and take down. Love the big windows. Easily fit a king size mattress with room for the dog.

Great Size But A Few Flaws

I wanted to love the Coleman Skylodge, and for the most part, it lived up to its promises. This tent is very large and we could fit Four cots easily in it with room to move around. The ceilings are high and it is easy to stand up in. I love that it has a tarp on the bottom which they call bathtub bottom floor. It is easy to clean and keep dry. It held up well in heavy rain. It has a compartment where you can feed an extension cord into the tent. The window had large vents. The initial setup was a bit challenging, mainly getting the long poles inserted correctly. It took us about 30 minutes the first time, but it went much faster the second time, taking only around 15 minutes. Setting it up is definitely easier with two people. It was easier than our older Coleman tent. Unfortunately, one of the zippers on the window had likely a manufacturing flaw. One of the zippers on the windows came off the track during our first use. It was likely a manufacturing flaw rather than from our use as the windows were up or barely open when we used it. It is a good tent for the money but double check your zippers before keeping it I needed up returning ours due to the flaw. While the tent seems like a good value for its size and features, I would strongly advise thoroughly checking all the zippers upon arrival. Ultimately, I had to return ours due to this issue.

Best Tent Ever And Huge!

Fantastic tent, with stoop a brutal storm that had everyone in there smaller tents clearing the camp ground. The poles that keep this tent upright are very stout, not your typical flimsy fiberglass. Only damage was a bent rainfly support when one of the stakes ripped out of the ground.
