Great Size But A Few Flaws

I wanted to love the Coleman Skylodge, and for the most part, it lived up to its promises. This tent is very large and we could fit Four cots easily in it with room to move around. The ceilings are high and it is easy to stand up in. I love that it has a tarp on the bottom which they call bathtub bottom floor. It is easy to clean and keep dry. It held up well in heavy rain. It has a compartment where you can feed an extension cord into the tent. The window had large vents. The initial setup was a bit challenging, mainly getting the long poles inserted correctly. It took us about 30 minutes the first time, but it went much faster the second time, taking only around 15 minutes. Setting it up is definitely easier with two people. It was easier than our older Coleman tent. Unfortunately, one of the zippers on the window had likely a manufacturing flaw. One of the zippers on the windows came off the track during our first use. It was likely a manufacturing flaw rather than from our use as the windows were up or barely open when we used it. It is a good tent for the money but double check your zippers before keeping it I needed up returning ours due to the flaw. While the tent seems like a good value for its size and features, I would strongly advise thoroughly checking all the zippers upon arrival. Ultimately, I had to return ours due to this issue.

Best Tent Ever And Huge!

Fantastic tent, with stoop a brutal storm that had everyone in there smaller tents clearing the camp ground. The poles that keep this tent upright are very stout, not your typical flimsy fiberglass. Only damage was a bent rainfly support when one of the stakes ripped out of the ground.

Good Tent For Money

This tent was nice and spacious for our family of 4. There was not much extra room for our clothes, but fit a pack and play, a king size mattress and dog bed fine. There was a day of rain that was steady for about 12 hours and water did get into the tent and made our bedding and pillows wet and left a few puddles on the floor (still not horrible for hours of rain). While large in size, this tent would not comfortably fit 10 people… no more than 4-5 unless you want to be crammed on top of each other. Instructions in bag don’t match instructions on bag and neither make sense…

Love The Tent, But Disappointed.

Tent was great. Went through a rainstorm and no leaks. My only problem was when I opened and set the tent up. It had 3 different holes on the tent. Put duct tape over 2 of them to prevent rain from getting in. Love the tent just sucks I’m stuck with a tent that has holes in it.

Spacious But Be Careful When Putting Together!

My family and I could not wait to use this so we ended up testing it out in our backyard the first two nights we had it! It was extremely spacious for my family of six and had plenty of room for all of our bedding and some! I took one star off because after breaking it down, we noticed the straps at the bottom of each corner were super worn as if it's been dragged across the street (when there was, in fact, no dragging that occured, lol). We reinforced the straps with duct tape to make sure they didn't fall apart before we even took it to a campsite! Also, when inserting one of the long structural poles, it got caught and ripped a hole when we first set it up. We were able to sew it but was definitely surprised at how easily it tore even when installed properly. In any case, we've enjoyed it so far, even with the wear and literal tear from two nights of use. Can't wait to take it to an actual campsite!
