Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat! Lightweight, puffy and very warm, just like you need for the winter! In the south, this isn't one you'd wear everyday. It is great for those windy below 30 degree days.I'm a 25 yo female. 5'1, about 100 pounds I can wear a boys large fleece so I got the same size in this one and it's perfect. (Easy way to save some money haha)I got the black and gray without the orange inside the hood. It really is perfect. It comes down passed my hips a bit so it covers maybe half of my backside too. Waterproof, not just water resistant. The waterproof "slick" outside kind of makes it wind proof too. Arm length is great as well. No complaints at all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for the cold This jacket is definitely not for very cold temperatures. A crisp fall day okay, but not for below 50°. If I saw it in the store first I would have passed on it. But I only ended up paying $38 for the jacket after rewards, so for that reason I will keep it. Do not purchase it if you are paying more than that - its not worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Quality I have never been more infuriated by a garment and cannot believe I didn't listen to my instincts about buying this coat. I purchased the size SM for my 4 1/2 year old and the fit was fine with a little room to grow. I bought this on 12/13/17 and he wore it for the first time the day after Christmas. The very first time he wore it, the zipper split open at the bottom and it kept happening again and again. In the cold, the material felt like a plastic bag and the zipper tread kept getting stuck in the zipper itself. Needless to say, we did not have a properly working jacket during this last week of December in the 10 degree NE weather. Do not purchase this coat...listen to the reviewers, several warned against the zipper. I Will never purchase another Columbia item again. Returning to store ASAP.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap zipper Beautiful color, great size - absolutely loved this coat until 6 days later the zipper split, and continued to split every time zippered - went and exchanged for new, great service at dicks had no problem and then....zipper split again! It just splits from the bottom up and it's easy enough to unzip and zip again - but little boys run and jump so the zipper split over and over again. Returned and purchased a different brand. Will not purchase this brand again, for price I should not have to question the zipper.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not good for my boy! I wanted a thinner but warm jacket so I don't have to wrestle my kid every morning to put his puffy jacket on ( he complains he can not move in it ). This jacket seem really nice but my son has a little belly, he is not chubby enough to buy husky styles but regular clothing sometime is too small for him n that was the case with this jacket, too tight around his mid section. The zipper seemed cheap too. I don't know how long would have lasted if we kept this jacket. I end up exchanging this jacket for the Gerry same size, Small ( my son is 7 years old) Better fit for him, it is a lil longer n roomier n very good quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad zipper I loved the coats at first (we purchased two, one for each of our children). I have always loved Columbia - but both coats had zippers that separated from the bottom up any time the boys would move around. Great coat, but unfortunate zipper!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great coat, terrible zipper Bought it on line, returning with tags still attached. Zipper splits from the bottom without much effort. didn't event make it out of the house with it. Great coat, however only if you don't need a zipping coat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed on insulation I really liked that the jacket was waterproof and I liked the color but I was disappointed on the thickness of the jacket it did not seem like it would be warm enough for the NH winter. It might work for a fall/spring jacket but I was looking to use it for cold winter day play. I guess I didn't read the description well enough and thought it had a thinsulate lining but it did not. I returned the item. I'd rather spend a little more and know that my little one is warm.
