Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it - looks nice and cool I have to wear a hat due to sun sensitivity, but they get hot and itchy - not this one. It looks good with summer outfits as well. A bit more feminine than most baseball caps. I want a couple more in other colors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weird cut, but great cooling properties The light fabric and terrific headband are exactly what I was looking for in a hot-weather ball cap, this will definitely keep your head as cool as possible while wearing a cap in the sun. But I found the cut of the cap a bit strange...at least for my head. You can adjust the circumference with the back velcro strap, but the hat seems too deep (or tall) for my head. In other words, there is a bunch of fabric left at the top when I put it on...if I pull it down to snug over my head, the sides come down over my ears. I've never had that issue with a ball cap before. Other than that, this is a perfect hot weather ball cap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from satisfied These hats are just what I have been looking for for a decade, They fit so well. They are light on my head, not bulky. The sizing is such a great thing, for I have a small head and fine thin hair. Difficult to fit with normal hats, Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised it Really Worked! With an issue of excessive sweating and overheating with exercise and warm temperatures, I tend to stay away from hats as they've typically made it worse for me. While hiking in Colorado and wearing this hat (black) I found I would still sweat some, but would not end up with my head and hair totally drenched in sweat as usual. The top of my head and area covered.bu cooling technology was noticeably cooler than the areas not. Love it and it looks good too! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AC on your head This is the best hat that you can ever buy. The best analogy I can come up with is that it feels like you are wearing an AC unit on your head. Your head instantly feels cool when you wear this compared to any other regular hat. Perfect for hot humid weather and hiking outside in the sun. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An essential for me! I’m a cap snob... this is my “ go to” for caps outside. I love the material as I forget I’m wearing it. Doesn’t overheat my head like the other caps out ther. An added plus is that it fits my larger head size. I buy several at a time in case I lose or forget one. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool, lightweight and good looking! I visited the Columbia factory outlet in Vegas and checked out sun block and moisture wicking hat models. The black Coolhead Ball Cap was my favorite: comfortable, great fit on my medium bean and an uncluttered design reminiscent of a tactical squad cap. There were several similar ball cap designs but this one stood out because "Columbia" was not emblazon across the front. A tiny offset graphic logo was used instead. The micro fiber fabric is ultra soft and stretches for a slim and fitted look. It's so lightweight it's easy to forget you're wearing a hat. For my 7.25 hat size the Velcro adjustment strip needed to be adjusted slightly larger than the smallest position, so plenty of adjustment for larger heads. I put the Coolhead to the test during several days of wandering around the Vegas Strip in triple digit summer heat. I figured the claim of using moisture from your head to cool the cap was corporate chuck 'n jive. Amazingly, the cooling feature worked extremely well and despite it being black. My head was cool but the rest of my body was really hot! I should check into Columbia's Omni-Freeze ZERO shirts... And, yes, no sunburn on my bean, plenty of glare cutting bill coverage and hands down the lightest and coolest hat I've owned, whipping heat grabbing cotton caps silly. The Coolhead is a wonderful hat for summer travel, hiking and yard work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect This hat fits great and is super cool in the heat.... But... There's a design flaw. The hard part of the Velcro part faces down, towards your hair, and the soft part faces out. It should be switched. Every time I take it off it grabs a chunk of my hair. My head is not small enough for the Velcro to be perfectly lined up. I'm going to get a small piece of Velcro to cover the part that keeps grabbing my hair.
