[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the same issue as another (1 star) reviewer had- the toe bumpers started separating from the shoe after only about 10 wearings (a mix of fishing/wading and canoeing). This is a shame, because other than that I love them. They are comfortable, grip well on slippery rocks, drain quickly and keep out all but the finest grit. To be honest, I'm kind of surprised that the shoe designers missed this rather obvious design flaw- the top edge of the toe bumper lies at a very high-stress point. Extend those bumpers an inch or so up and over the top of the shoe and the separation issue probably goes away. I have another pair of Columbia water shoes (a model no longer made) that are very beat up but still useable after over 10 years of hard use (wading rocky streams, whitewater canoeing, innumerable long rough portages...). Looks like I'll have to keep using those until they disinegrate.
