The Landroamer jacket is perfect for my needs. I stress tested the jacket on a rainy day going to Abrams Falls. The jacket never once failed and was very comfortable with my day hike bag. The pockets are gusseted allowing for larger objects to fit more comfortably. Side zip pockets kept my hands warm in the rain. The hood is adjustable and perfectly kept rain out, no real need for a ball cap to be worn with the attached hood.
