[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a spring/fall jacket for Michigan – one that would work in 40-65 degree weather, with a hood and be able to withstand blustery winds that make it feel 5- -10 degrees colder, as well as rain showers that can suddenly arise when you’re out on a walk away from your house or car. So, I ended up buying five jackets while on sale – Hydroforce Full Zip Hoodie, Hikebound II Insulated Jacket, Arctic Peak Full Zip Fleece, Ascender II Hooded Softshell Jacket, and Glennaker II Sherpa Lined Jacket - to see which one would work for me. Unfortunately, none of them did. I’ve left reviews under each of them. Hydroforce Full Zip Hoodie – It’s a hoodie, what more can I say? The “built-in gaiter” has got to be one of the most useless features I have ever seen in a jacket. The only way that I could use it was to put it around my head first and then try to wriggle into the jacket. If you already have the jacket on, it’s useless (or it needs special instructions on how to use it, which don’t come with the jacket). This one went back.

Would have given it a 5-star if a tall size was available for us tall guys. The fit is kind of boxy, so a tall size would be more comfortable. Quality seems to be really good, though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing piece of kit for fly fishingl fishing/ camping etc. I used this several times while fly fishing and camping recently and it performed perfectly in medium cold windy and drizzly weather. It has a low to medium warmth ratio, but seemed to block wind and moisture well. I used the included and hidden face mask and loved the feature.

Advanced fabric, repels water on the outside and softness on the inside for just the right level of protection and warmth. It also has a built-in face covering to shield your face from the cold .

Bought for a camping trip with sub30 degree weather and it did a fantastic job. We’ll soon be getting the green option as well

Great Christmas present for my other half. Comfortable, clean lines. Warm enough for Florida winters. Plenty of pockets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got back hiking in the blue ridge mountains and this hoodie did great. Rained a bit while on trail and water just ran off keeping me dry without soaking through. Kept me warm enough with a light long sleeve compression shirt underneath in low 40° temps. Cleans up easily as well, was able to clean off some Georgia clay with no trace left behind that had been on it for a few days.
