[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, the fit is great, and I like that the hood isn't super baggy. I wish there was a pocket though (like in the front for some gloves or keys). But it's a good trade off for it being cooler. I haven't tested it out yet, but from what I can tell, it meets the expectations I had when shopping online. And I'm happy to have a better fitting sun shirt with a hood. Having never ordered Columbia clothing, I wasn't sure what size to get, and the sizing chart was not super helpful. I took a gamble based on the size of a Columbia rain jacket I got once (from someone) and the fact that all retailers have bogus claims for their sizing (waist sizes for example are rarely accurate). I got XXL (proportionately larger than the "standard" sizes), which is different from 2X (a slightly different pattern based on the average bigger size men's body shapes). Based on the sizing chart, I should have gotten 3X. But keep in mind, I don't have the average bigger man's body shape. I'm glad I got the smaller size. I would guess the fit of this shirt is consistent with other Columbia clothing or even other retailers. But the sizing chart was not super helpful for me. Maybe I should have looked more seriously into the women's options, but I typically don't like how flared or short the waists can be and the typically lighter colors.
