I Thought I Was Buying Swim Trunks

I told the Dick’s sales clerk what I was looking for, and she directed me to a rack of, what I thought were swim trunks. When I got home, my wife said, those are not swim trunks, they are shorts! I suppose I need to take my wife with me the next time I go shopping.
