[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These just arrived, and I am initially pleased with them. They are super lightweight; lighter than expected. Definitely great for warm weather hiking. Should be easy to pack and will dry quickly. I have a size 33 waist so I purchased the size 34, and they are none to large. Size up if in doubt.

I have 3 variations of these pants from different years, and the oldest ones are by far the best. The newest ones are oversized and the fabric feels heavier. But the largest problem, by far, is the pockets. The pockets get smaller every time, but this time my phone actually sticks out, and it falls out and cracks the screen every time I sit down. They are unusable as a result.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable lightweight pants for traveling, hiking or going out on the boat. The right cargo pocket is deep enough for a XL phone. The left zippered pocket is not but will comfortably hold a wallet. I'm 6'4" 196lbs and the 34x34 fits well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these pants- have three pairs. Great for hot weather- material feels almost weightless yet seems very durable. Dries quickly. My only complaint- please make these in more colors, specifically navy. Would love to be able to wear at work in the summer, but have to have navy pants.

Look cheap and material is so thin it would make good kite material. I messed up by not returning them. My mistake. Have no idea where I would ever wear them. but they may be ok to wear while mowing the lawn.

I have been wearing Columbia SPF pants for several years and have loved them. However, I bought a pair of Silver Ridge Utility pants recently and am disappointed with two things abut them. 1. I like the older belt buckles better, the newer ones are more difficult to fasten. 2. I carry my wallet in my left side front pocket. With these pants my wallet occasionally falls out of my pocket at random times. Please redesign the front pockets to eliminate this pitfall.

Ultra light , comfortable, fits well ,nice design stylish. The pockest are slippery and my phone falls out when I'm sitting down. The crotch area broke is torn after a month of hiking and fishing.
Disatisfied
One star for the pants, however, my two pairs purchased in mid 2024 have broken belt clasps (fatal flaw), Guesss what? No replacement parts and need to process full refund. More to follow.

Bought these pants to hike the PCT and they ripped two days in. Would not recommend for hiking. My picture shows just one of three places the stitches are coming undone

I have a few pairs of older versions of these pants and I really like them. But I'm disappointed with the most recent version. They have changed a number of things on these pants that I don't care for. The fabric is different and while it Is light and cool It seems a little too thin and it just kind of hangs on me with no shape or form. The legs seem a little narrower which I find to be somewhat less comfortable but they seem to have lengthened them slightly which I find nice for keeping debris out of my shoes without having to wear gators. And most importantly they changed the orientation of the left leg pocket so that the zipper is vertical instead of horizontal… this makes it much more cumbersome to get items in and out of the pocket.

Light weight and good material. However, size 28 is too small for my waist while other Columbia pants fits well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these pants! Light weight and constructed very well. Enough flexibility for stretching while you're hiking through the woods or any other outdoor activity. Great style for a casual setting out on the town, too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty good pants. my only issue is that the pockets are too small. I hike and use an iPhone 15 Pro MAX to take pics and videos while on trails, its almost impossible to put my phone in my pockets (left or right front/side) without it sticking out...some deeper pockets would have been nice to be honest but it is what it is. it gets only 4 stars because of the small pockets
