I’m almost 5’4” with a 34D chest and 40” hips. I ordered the recommended size M. Unfortunately it did not drape gracefully on me as on the model: much too tight on me. So tight at the hips it couldn’t be buttoned. This garment is labeled a Regular Fit: Universal, easy fit for comfortable range of motion. That is not the case for me. I should have noticed that the photos of shirt laid out flat in an ensemble with other clothing clearly show that the bottom of the shirt looks narrower than at the top of the shoulders. A broad shouldered narrow hipped body type, which is the opposite of my pear shape would look great in this shirt. This could also look very nice on a tall person so that the narrow cut at the hem aligns more with the waist than the hips. The quality is very good. Unfortunately for me, I couldn’t have ordered a more ill fitting unattractive shirt. It was returned. My 3 star rating reflects the poor description of the sizing of the shirt. I wish Columbia would include in their shirt descriptions the hem width. Ever since Columbia eliminated Petite sizing finding a shirt that fits is difficult. My hips may align with another’s waist. By knowing both the length and bottom width of a shirt I would have a better chance of buying a shirt that fits.
