Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome boots, warm & great traction! Runs small. These boots are everything I wanted them to be. I love the white/grey color scheme, and the icy light blue adds a nice contrast of color. They are very stiff at first but cushy and comfortable. While shoveling in 28 degree weather, they kept my feet warm (my toes usually completely lose feeling and turn white); will be sure to use 2 pairs of socks if going out in colder temps. Kept my feet dry as well, and good traction in the snow; our driveway is a short, steep hill downwards, so these were great for steady footing. I am normally a 7.5/8 in boots, but had to go up to an 8.5 because my right big toe was pressed up against the toe box, so you may want to size up. Highly recommend these, can't wait to take them hiking this winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So warm! I have purchased 2 pairs of Columbia boots in the past for myself. The store I went to had a size too small and a size too big so my small ones are now my daughters and I’m still clunking around in the too big pair. Found these today in my actual size and grabbed them. They are tighter in the tie area than the other ones that I have. Those are actually still on this site and more pricey than these. I’m not sure why because these seems cushier as well as warmer than the others. These go to -25 and the others -22. Seen a few complaints that there is less toe room in these which is true, BUT, you do NOT need wool socks with these anyhow because your feet stay warm with regular socks. I can’t imagine needing that much sometimes I get too hot wearing these as it is. Love them! I live near Buffalo so they will get lots of use!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!!!! I got these boots about 2 hours ago. WOW. I ordered a half size larger in the grey. I have a big foot 9.5 but ordered the 10. They fit perfect with a bit of room for a nice wool sock over a cotton sock. We are headed to Iceland to see the Aurora and I needed good boots for walking in snow, standing around in frigid temps at night and trekking across glaciers. These boots came with more than I expected. They have the Omni Heat material inside which wasn't on the listing. They feel great, I'm not used to wearing a boot like this so I will need to break in the shaft so it moves a bit more freely until then I will lace loosely above the ankle. I live in NC, we really don't have a snow winter here, but got 7 inches 4 days ago which is huge for us. Today is 57 deg. outside but there is a bit of snow-ice left on the patio in the shade. I ran out and jumped around like a kid, no skidding on the ice, warm and dry. I am wishing for snow just so I can wear them before our trip. YAAAY!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from awesome boots! I read other reviews before i bought these boots and everyone said they ran small. THEY DO NOT RUN SMALL!! I'm a 6.5 and so I ordered a 7 and they are too big. So I'm sending them back. I really liked them and i wanted them to wear like yesterday because I live in Buffalo...the snow city. Other than the fact they dont fit they are nice looking. But have no idea if they keep my feet warm,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Columbia women’s Waterproof was Boots - Be Ready for Winter! I bought these Columbia boots recently and I am very pleased with this purchase. The boots are very warm, and one of the best features is that they are waterproof. They are comfortable for a boot that comes up well above the ankle. I recommend these boots for warmth, comfort, water resistant and affordable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kept feet warm and dry; not very comfortable I bought these boots for use in the 15 degree winter days we've had this year. They were very warm, and I had pretty good traction in the snow; my feet also stayed dry while walking through deep snow for over an hour. But as others have noted, they're not very comfortable around your shin/ankle; the toe box seemed fine when worn with regular socks. The upper part is very stiff and digs into your ankle and shin while you walk (I had bruises the first few times I wore them). Since they're warm and waterproof, I'll keep them, but I wish Columbia made the Bugaboot in a tall knee-high version, with more flexible material (their taller Minx boots seem flimsy in comparison). I'll recommend it (with reservations) based on warmth, waterproofing, and price, but you'll have to deal with some discomfort. As far as Dick's goes -- they sent them quickly and the price was reasonable. No complaints!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waiting to try these out, they look great! I was pleasantly surprised with my "Bugaboots"! They fit well (I ordered a larger size because I'll wear heavy socks), are light weight, rugged, yet, cool looking for gals ... And, believe it or not, I can't wait for a snowfall & cold weather to try them out. I'm sure the "Bugaboot" will be around a good while ~ and, I hope they live up to how good they look! I highly recommend, ladies!
