This Jacket Is Perfect. I Don't Have To Layer.

Not Easily Packable And Not The Color Shown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a hooded down jacket that would pack into one of its own pockets. I purchased this one as the description fit what I was looking for. I purchased the "plum" color which in the photos looked like a very light purple color. I am 5' 6" and 180 lbs and apple shaped. I ordered the XL. It is a bit long in the arms, but fits around my belly with a little extra room even when wearing a sweatshirt. The color was not as depicted in the photo, it was much more of what I would expect from "plum." It is also not easy to pack. It took me quite a while to get the whole jacket shoved into the pocket. I included a photo of it packed on top of a sheet of printer paper for size reference. I do plan on keeping the jacket because I actually like the color and it's super warm.

Great Jacket

I'm really glad I bought this! I did size up (M to an L) after reading the reviews. The M would have fit but without much layering ability - with the L I can layer with a base and fleece layer no problems. Also look good with just a tee or long-shirt. 5'8", around 150. Haven't tried it outside much but I think it'll be great for camping and as a mid-layer on really cold days under a parka.

Regrets

Just bought this and I'm so disappointed I didn't buy it sooner! All those cold day could have been avoided! It's so light weight but extremely warm. I've been riding my motorcycle in 30° weather and this baby keeps me toasty. So happy with it! And the fact that is packs up into itself is a game changer. Ready to sell my other four columbia jackets and replace them with more omni heat infinity. Ten outta ten here

My Daughter Loves This Jacket

Living in New England we get some cold nights and freezing mornings. My daughter loves this jacket. In the morning it keeps her so warm. She has worn it ice skating, tubing, skiing, playing outside, casually and it's very comfortable. I did buy her a Medium so it would fit her throughout the 3 seasons. It was plenty big but not too big.
