No Stretch
I bought these because we go floating alot and burn just looking at the sun! Unfortunately there is no stretch to them, so there is no give. If you question what size to buy, size up. I didn't and there is NO WAY I can wear them.

Comfortable Shorts
I bought these shorts about a month ago and the Columbia logo on the side of the left leg is already peeling off. The shorts are comfortable but I did order a size up from my normal size due to other reviews. I also wish the shorts came in more color options. Come on Columbia, you can do better than put cheap labeling on your expensive shorts!

No Stretch But Not A Deal Breaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my line of work I consistently bend over. They don't bend with me, rather against me. Just a little spandex or elastic added would be nice! However, I wonder if that fabric will lend to lint balls at the thigh rub spot. I'm 5'7', 120lbs, narrow hips, booty present. 2's were actually too small sized up to a form fitting 4. I'm hoping, for the price, that they do not "lint ball up" anytime soon. I've only worn a few times so take with a grain of salt.

Nice Shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've worn Columbia apparel for years with no issues. Gave this a 4 for the sizing. I ordered the size that matched with their guide. Waist was fine but the shorts are slimmer in the hip than the size chart suggests. You'll want to go up a size.
