Disappointment

I have been wearing Columbia Convertible pants for as long as I have been hiking and that is a LONG time. I have two pairs of them, both in size 14. My kids gave me a new pair for Christmas and they are SO different in quality, fit and from the picture shown on line. The outside pocket shown here is not even on my pants. The fit of the waist is fine but the width of the legs and amount of material in the back of the seat make me look like I am wearing clown pants! I am SO disappointed. I thought that I could always count on the quality of Columbia products- I own a lot of their gear.

Lightweight.

Nice lightweight feel for warm weather. Reviews said they run small in the waist which was true for me- one size up fit best. They are up newer to me and the inside of the knee zipper feels like it might irritate the skin over time if I’m moving a lot. Time will tell. 🤞🏼

Too Tight

Significantly tight in the hips and thighs, where the convertible zippers land the pants are tight enough that the zippers rub against your legs. Cant wear them and be comfortable. Will be trying larger sizes to see if they work, love the overall style, but something is off in the sizing.

Size Up

Versatile And Comfy

Runs Small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i nornally wear a 10.i purchased a 12. itatoo snug. legs are tapered making it uncomfortable to hike in.

Great Pants For Hiking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality pants, however, I would've had to have gone up to a size 8 because I have wide hips I am 5 foot 6 inches and 135 pounds I typically wear a size 6, but I would've had to have sized up to an eight to feel comfortable

Not For Women With Normal Thighs

Great concept, unless you're a regular woman and don't have extra skinny thighs. If you have normal thighs, the zippers will cut into your legs, particularly when you're sitting. Wish Columbia would either fix design flaw or bring back the saturday trail pants that are capri-convertible, and don't kill your thighs.

These run smaller than the size they are true to. I would try on in store..otherwise get stuck with paying money to return 😭

Well-made But Could Use Some Improvements

I really want to love these pants and as long as I stay standing they’re great. The minute I sit the zipper in the leg for the shorts cuts into the back of my leg-it’s very uncomfortable. But as long as I stand or keep moving they’re fine. They are well made, definitely lightweight and quick dry as advertised. The pocket in the left leg is too small for my phone but the cargo pocket or back pocket work just fine.
