I got it to walk in the rain and it works. It does get hot because it is not breathable.

Warm, Comfortable

I bought these trail pants for hiking & walking in Iowa winter weather. I bought a size larger than I normally wear because I thought with the fleece lining, they might fit more snug. They are actually loose but wearable. They do have belt loops, so I plan to use a belt with them if they get looser. I really like them. Lots of good size pockets.

Definitely Waterproof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore these rain pants for a glacier tour in Iceland where it rained nonstop. My legs stayed dry the entire time. These pants only get four stars because of the fit. These are too long for me but too tight across the hips. Also, these pants have no pockets that is a drawback.

Nice Product

Bought for outdoor activities while in Alaska where it rains 300/365 days a year. Easy to pack and good fit to put over other pants.

Poor Quality So I Returned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were a cheap quality so I returned. A total disappointment in Columbia lately, products have cheapened the materials made. I have a pair from 20 years ago that I still love from Columbia just lost there waterproofing, but will still wear.

Perfect Rainpants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect pants for a trip to Iceland. I bought my normal size (medium) and can layer leggings underneath if need be. The ankles are wide enough that I can fit them over my hiking boots. They are quite comfortable, definitely waterproof and well priced.

Comfortable Gear.

Very good quality material. I wear the jacket and pants over layers of clothing at work. Does great at keeping my body heat well, being I load trailers on a freezer dock. 3rd time buying them. Will continue to.

Great Pants But Not For Me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants were well-made of good fabric. They fit everywhere except for the length. I am 5' tall and usually wear a size 2 or 4. The legs were at least 6 inches too long! I am soooo disappointed! When are you going to offer petite sizes? I love the Columbia brand but it's very often "hit or miss" with petite sizes!
