Just as described. Nice material. Very warm. i sized up one size because I like to wear sweaters in the winter. It’s perfect. The hood does not come off but the fur collar does. (I didn’t know that). Love the big pockets and the vertical breast pocket (keep my phone there). I’m very happy with the purchase.

Toasty Warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this coat for a winter trip to Alaska. It did a good job buffering wind. Long enough to cover quite a bit of me outside. Zippers both ways allowed mobility and access to the inside without opening up completely. Excellent hood lined with warm Sherpa (?)—essential and maybe my favorite aspect of the coat. Slick inside lets you layer easily. I will say I wish the pockets were lined. They are roomy but not particularly warm. The outside zipper pocket was very useful for quick access to phone. As far as warmth. I’m glad I layered up. I bought it with the understanding it was max warmth rated but we had multiple days -30 weather and I could feel the cold penetrating after some time outside. That might not be fair. In reasonable cold, I think this coat stands up nicely. I bought gray. A bit boring. I wish they would have had a pretty red but I’m still happy with my purchase and for the price very happy.
