[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this coat for a winter trip to Alaska. It did a good job buffering wind. Long enough to cover quite a bit of me outside. Zippers both ways allowed mobility and access to the inside without opening up completely. Excellent hood lined with warm Sherpa (?)—essential and maybe my favorite aspect of the coat. Slick inside lets you layer easily. I will say I wish the pockets were lined. They are roomy but not particularly warm. The outside zipper pocket was very useful for quick access to phone. As far as warmth. I’m glad I layered up. I bought it with the understanding it was max warmth rated but we had multiple days -30 weather and I could feel the cold penetrating after some time outside. That might not be fair. In reasonable cold, I think this coat stands up nicely. I bought gray. A bit boring. I wish they would have had a pretty red but I’m still happy with my purchase and for the price very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third Shuttle Mountain Jacket I have purchased. I was a little disappointed as the green one was a little tighter through the hips. I love these jackets because I can put a couple layers underneath and also long enough to cover my longer sweaters. For some reason this one is just a little more form fitting. This jacket is a very warm one. I use all my shuttle mountain jackets for short snowmobile rides. I live in Northern Michigan and they were perfect for our brutal 25/26 winter. I would order another color but I am running out of winter coat closet space.

Cheap Zipper
I bought this for my wife for Christmas. Not even 2 months later the zipper wont stay zipped. Very poor quality zipper. The jacket is nice though.
