Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, so good. I just purchased this jacket yesterday and I really like the fit. I normally would have gotten a medium, but since this jacket is thinner I went with a large so it can be worn over other jackets/sweaters. The only reason I didn't give this jacket 5 stars was because it was kinda humid when I tried it on and he sleeves were sticking to my arms since there was some moisture. Obviously if you wear long sleeves this won't be a problem, but in NC we don't wear long sleeves all year round. Other than that I'm really excited to try out the water resistance of this jacket on a trip to Seattle soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Lightweight Weather Resistant Jacket! I purchased this jacket specifically for my summer trip to Iceland as it is rainy & windy most days there. The jacket is definitely windproof which was extremely helpful. It is water resistant not waterproof. If you are going to be in heavy rains your underclothes will get wet. super lightweight which is nice when it's decently warm out. I did have some difficulties with the hood. If I tightened it to keep the rain out it went down over my face instead of just tightening around it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket, lightweight, fits true to size This is a very good jacket, overall. It's very lightweight. The fit is great, slightly slim around the waistline, which makes it look more fashionable than other rain jackets. I'm 5'4 and 115 lbs, I got a size small. It fits great with just a t-shirt inside. It's also roomy enough to wear on top of my winter bomber jacket. I recently wore this jacket to iceland in December, it kept me dry for most of the time in the rainy/snowy weather in the Nordic country. However, it can't withstand serious rain for extended periods of time. I wore it on a 3-hr hike in heavy rain, my inner winter jacket got wet by the end of the hike. Nevertheless, I would recommend this jacket to those who are not looking for something that's absolutely waterproof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice rain jacket I bought this jacket in Lagoon. It is even prettier than online. It does great keeping water off you. It fits pretty true to size. I ordered a size up bc I read many reviews stating how tight the arms were. I have very large arms so went with a size up. It was not necessary. My arms have plenty room. Will be good for winter when want to wear sweatshirt under it I guess. My only complaint is the hood. I’m not a fan of how it looks if not in use but I also don’t want to cram it back into the pocket when not using. If that’s the worst thing with it I think that’s pretty good. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Columbia Women's Switchback Rain Jacket.... A Replacement My wife owned another Columbia Rain Jacket and left it somewhere in Costa Rica during a recent 9 day tour. Upon the birth of a new grandson, I decided to "kill two birds with one purchase". A replacement for her favorite jacket, and a New Grandma gift all for the on sale price of $39. What a bargain. She loves the new jacket, which we will take on our next trip on a cruise in Barcelona, Spain... thanks to Caesar's properties. It is both very stylish and practical because of it's light weight. After purchasing this for her, I became jealous, and purchased a Columbia Glennaker Lakes Rain Jacket for myself. Now, we are both happy. Thanks to Columbia.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I expected more from Columbia This rain coat is great in that it's fashionable, lightweight, and a good price. it also has lots of pockets and a hood. the cons are that it takes forever to dry-- I walked to work in the pouring rain and when I got done with me 10 1/2 hour shift, it still was not dry. It also doesn't completely protect you from rain. When I got to work, I realized that my tummy and arms were completely soaked. I expected this to be better at protecting from rain. I was disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value when on sale, but packable feature needs a tweak I bought this when on sale for $20. I bought a small, which Columbia sizes usually runs bigger than other stores. I wanted a slightly roomier fit but the small was a fitted fit (I am 5’2”, 117 lbs, petite/athletic). I would say size up if you’re used to having your Columbia gear a little looser (for layers underneath). The quality is great! My only issue is that the pockets are a bit small, so when turning it inside out to “pack” your jacket inside, you have to be careful because it’s a tight fit and you may ruin the zipper by pushing too hard. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Folds up nice to travel, but not comfortable to wear... I purchased this to throw in a backpack/day-pack while traveling Europe with my husband. It was a perfect fit and folded up so compact to fit in our day pack. The issue arose when I would wear it--any item of moisture on my skin (whether it was sweat or humidity) made the jacket stick and cling to my body, making it uncomfortable to keep on. If I could do it over again, I'd choose a jacket that had a liner in order to prevent this from happening.
