Couldn't Even Sleep In It
Overpriced! I bought this for a camping trip for my family and I. There are 4 of us, they tent wouldn't stay up. I followed the directions to a T. The poles broke and split in half. We had to sleep in the car because we were 4 hours from the store and any town. Then I tried to return and Dicks wouldn't allow me to return it because it wasn't re sellable. So I'm stock with $280 🗑

Excellent Tent
After purchasing a core 6 person instant tent at a large box store, we liked the quality but we realized it was too small and did not allow for two mattresses plus room for gear so we returned unused and purchased this 10 person. This tent is perfect size for us to have room for 1 or 2 queen air mattresses without touching walls and some gear. If only 1 queen mattress is used, it allows for a spacious area for gear. The tent is tall, I am 6’ and walk around easily. I like having 2 doors, one on each side of room divider but would prefer both doors on same side like the instant tent. We had heavy rain on our first trip and remained dry. We used a footprint and got little water between tent and footprint which was only around the edge. I researched other name brands and chose core and I am glad I did. The quality is excellent and we are very happy with our purchase. I chose this tent over the instant set up due to less moving parts. I believe this tent will last a long time. Thanks Core

Heavy Rains And Not One Drop In Tent
A friend of mind brought this temp camping. There was 5 of us and we comfortably with cots, we’re able to stay dry, protected and had a great time during heavy rains over night. I was so impressed that I commented that I was going to go home and write this review. I will buy this same tent soon.

Great, Spacious Tent!
Great spacious tent, esp for tall folks like us. Tent stayed dry despite VERY dewy mornings and the afternoon rain soaked ground. Fairly easy set up. No complaints. Hope we can find the straight wall add on - it would be nice in case it ever did rain. Love the bag it came with so packing it up and storing it is easy as well.

Easy To Set Up
We did a lot of research before purchasing the Core straight wall 10x14 tent. Our decision was based on the size, quality and height…and with it not considered an “instant” tent, we felt it was very simple to set up. It’s very roomy!

After 4 Weekends Of Camping
We purchased the 10-person, straight wall tent and its little brother, the 6 person tent, about three years ago. My wife and I are grandparents to three kids and wanted to make some fun memories with the rug rats. We have used the two tents for 4 weekends. First of all, the way tents are rated in size is ridiculous. There is no way that 10 people could fit in the ten person tent. Plan on 6 maximum if you also want folks to bring their "stuff" ub the tent with them. If you use air mattresses, five people is even better. Second, these tents are designed for spring and summer only. They are not warm tents. If the night time temperature goes below 50, you will be cold. Third, there is little storage space inside these tents. You don't want folks putting their cell phones, wallets, etc on the ground for several reasons. We purchased, small water proof tubs for the grandkids personal belongings. Fourth, the tents withstood some fairly high winds (gusts up to 30 MPH) using the ropes on the rain fly and better stakes all around. The stakes that come with it are not good for sandy soil. We have not yet encountered rain so i cannot tell you about that. So far, the only thing that has broken is the insides of the large, light gray pole that goes across the top of the tent. We used duct tape to hold the 5 pieces together last weekend. Ordering a replacement pole from Core is proving to be challenging. These are well designed tents that are of average quality. Hope that this helps.

Love It
You definitely need two people to set this up, but it is very easy to do. Has plenty of head room. I don't need the divider but it is nice to have a second entrance/exit. Great having two stake down points under each doorway too.

Benn Using This Tent For The Las 2 Years
Love this tent. It is well made. We have had no issues for the last 2 years. Camped in thunderstorms with no issues. I did spray some more wet proofing for some added protection. Other then that it is good to go. When the tent arrived one pole was broken but I contacted customer service and they sent a new one.

Don't Buy If You Have Wind
I liked this tent until it was subject to wind. Using the stakes that came with the tent and rigging lines, the tent cannot handle any wind. Mine was ripped from the ground and blew across my property until the rigging lines caught in a cat-claw bush. The Entire tent was stuck in the bush. The good thing is the tent did not tear, however it is not safe for a windy location. My option is to look for better stakes to tac this thing down nice and secure.

Great Products!
This is our second Core tent. We love these products and only upgraded ours for a bit more space. We have 3 in our family. We have 2 bunk cots and then a single cot for our son. We had our old one for around 4-5 years or so. I did reapply water repellant every other year, just to be extra safe. We also set up under a canopy. Anyways your products are awesome!! Very good value!
