I'm a solo camper and this tent is PERFECT! The instant tents are just a tad too short for my liking. The tent sets up and breaks down very fast and I had no trouble at all with setting it up myself. It's big and spacious inside, with plenty of storage. I fit my XL size cot and had tons of room to stow my gear and still didn't feel cramped. So, why only 4 stars? Simple... the tent is a little "Breezy" with the two vents on the sides and the large mesh roof, the wind blows right through it. As a result, the tent sleeps very cold. I am upgrading from a Rapier truck tent, and after about 30 minutes with my Mr Buddy heater the Rapier is nice and toasty and retains the heat... I had to double check that my heater was on in the Core because it was so cold and the heat just escapes out the roof. Of course, the flip side to having all that ventilation is the walls of the tent were bone dry in the morning even after I snored away all might. So that's a win.

Great Tent
I already have a 9 person instant tent, which I love. However I wanted something that took up less room in my vehicle. I also have the 10x12 screen tent. This 6 person tent is super easy to setup. I was able to do it by myself in about 10 minutes. The tent has plenty of room, lots of windows and vents for airflow. The tent easily fits back into its carry bag. This tent takes up half the space in my vehicle as my 9 person instant tent. I've been satisfied with all of my Core equipment

Nice Tent, Ideal For Family Of 4 Or More.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice tent and very easy to set up even with one person. Purchased sometime ago a 4 person Core tent and have been very satisfied with it as well. Have not used the new 10' x 9' tent as of yet due to current winter season. Can not really see difference in material between two tents. Advertisement states a heavier tent material for the 10'x9' model, I hope so. Again the set up is extremely easy and fast even for one person. Wanted to make sure because I often take with me on a solo fishing trip in early March and just wanted to make sure there would be no hassle in setting the tent up. Lots of ventilation ports at the base in a huge area under the rain fly for ventilation including the screens in door and sides which are ideal for the 90+ degree temp we have during the summer months. Great height for this straight wall tent more than 6 feet and center. Will add further comments after first couple of use of the new tent which I am looking forward to as the spring come around. I recommend this tent. The Core company I believes will stand by their products and not disappear overnight as so many in this line of products. Their reputation appears to be very solid.

Could Be An Excellent Tent
Like I said this tank could be a very good tent it needs quite a bit of refinement. For example I don't know if mine missed the waterproofing but the lower part where the Orange is on the front started to seep through .the tent fly already leaking through and also either the tent fly needs to be a little longer on the sides or like over the front door it appears to be approximately maybe 7 in of material but the sides or even almost with the window when you have a thunderstorm with a little bit of wind you're getting wet not enjoyable. The flap for the front door useless it curls up and at the transition point what are just comes right in. Another improvement can start putting bathtub floors in them. During one of the thunderstorms that was windy one of the hooks that holds the tent to the pole unhooked itself this tent either needs to be improved or just taking out of circulation. No way of opening or closing the vents without going outside real smooth move guys. Sad thing about it it's failing before the summer is over hasn't even been one season yet I would expect maybe next season having to re waterproof it.

Easy Set Up And Durable
This tent is AMAZING. I was able to put the tent up by myself. The directions were clear and attached to inside the bag. The material is thicker than the normal tents. Take down went great and everything went inside the bag, with extra room no less! For the price, I am very impressed with this tent and would definitely recommend it. I would say it sleeps about 4 people if you are using cots or blow up mattresses. 6 if you are using mats.

1st Use This Weekend
Took it out of the box and set it up for the first time this weekend and noticed 2 small holes in the back right corner but surprisingly couldn't find any patches. Why I only gave 4 out of 5 stars though is because I think there should be a second stake down place for the doorway - like the 10 person version of this tent that I also own.

I Bought This Tent For
I bought this tent for the headroom as I am 6'1" and used the tent this week for a 3 day camping trip at a campground. I was able to set it up in 30 minutes with no issues, it was roomy as I now use a XL cot to sleep. There is plenty of ventilation almost to much and would have liked less netting in the top and more material but I like this tent for solo camping.

Really Nice Tent
I live in Texas and needed something that would allow for air flow. It has screens on all sides so should do the trick. It's super fast to put up even though it isn't an instant tent.

Too Soon For Review
The stitching of the material looks great. The zippers work well. Haven't really used it for camping yet. But I've gotten 3 emails asking for a review... so for what it's worth... happy so far.

Great Tent
This is our second Core tent. We have the 9 person for a family of four but also wanted a smaller one for when it is just the girlfriend and I. Used it for the first time last weekend and it was perfect. It went up quickly and there was more than enough room for the two of us. Not sure about sleeping 6 but to be honest it would have been large enough for the four of us as well. Lastly, the other thing I like about both core tents is that when you're done and packing it up, everything fits nicely into the carry bag without having to force things into it.

Just What I Needed!
I bought this tent to stay the weekend at Vogel State Park in Georgia while racing H9, a 50 mile trail race. I was able to setup a table, cot, and chair in the tent with plenty of room to spare. It set up and broke down so easily and kept me dry during rain the second night. Quality tent.
