4. 5 stars. I purchased this bag after two of my friends got one. I love the fact that it opens in the middle like a suitcase that I can carry instead of drag around! The pockets and compartments are the perfect size. I will say that the padding for the laptop section is a bit thick for me. I personally rarely travel with anything bigger than a tablet so this section is a bit overkill that could be used for more general packing space. The straps are nice and sturdy though and I like the fact you can do a waist belt if needed.

I absolutely love this pack! I was able to fit a week’s worth of clothes along with all my necessities and toiletries bag. The bag is designed well and sturdy. There are several different pouches such as a pouch for all my electronic cords and a pouch for my laptop. I love the black with the different accent colors.

I’m very excited to use my new Cotopaxi travel pack! I previously used my old 35L Allpa pack for 7 years, but the TPU coating started peeling. Through Cotopaxi’s warranty program, I was able to get a replacement and opted to get the pack without TPU. While I don’t think this pack will hold up as well in heavy rain, I mainly use my pack to travel by train/bus and briefly walk to my accommodations or car camping, so I don’t think this will be a problem. I love using the pack when walking up stairs or other tight spaces and most recently used my old 35L pack for a 11-day trip in Europe. It was great! I like the new pocket design and am excited to use my pack on my next trip.

It is with a sense of deliberate and appreciative contemplation that I shall endeavor to convey my comprehensive thoughts and impressions on this fascinating piece of adventuring equipment. Allow me to commence with the most salient characteristic of the "Del Día" collection: its aesthetic vivacity and unparalleled individuality. To hold an Allpa pack from this line is to possess a truly singular creation, a veritable tapestry of color borne from the ingenious and randomized use of repurposed, high-quality remnant fabrics. The specific iteration—the "Del Día Dark"—is a masterstroke of controlled chaos, presenting a foundation of deeper, more subdued tones which are then punctuated by unexpected, brilliant bursts of color in the zippers, straps, and interior lining. This deliberate asymmetry is not a flaw; nay, it is the very soul of the pack, ensuring that no other traveler on any continent will possess a bag precisely like mine. This inherent uniqueness provides an immediate, deep-seated satisfaction, transforming the mundane act of carrying luggage into an expression of personal, eco-conscious style. Moving beyond mere ornamentation, let us delve into the pragmatic genius of its design. The 35-liter capacity is, in my estimation, the Platonic ideal for an extended weekend or a minimalist week-long journey. It occupies that exquisite middle ground, defying the overpacking temptation of its larger brethren while offering a significant advantage over its smaller contemporaries. The full, suitcase-style zipper opening is a monumental convenience, a feature that separates the novice travel bag from the professional companion. One does not merely "dump" items into this pack; one organizes a mobile wardrobe within its structured confines. The internal organization is a testament to thoughtful engineering. The main compartment, split into zippered mesh sections, allows for a level of compartmentalization that makes locating an item a swift, decisive act rather than a desperate rummage. Furthermore, the inclusion of the padded laptop sleeve, accessible via an external, quick-access zipper, speaks directly to the needs of the contemporary digital nomad, allowing for the rapid retrieval of one's essential technological device without disturbing the painstakingly arranged interior. The carry system, the fundamental element of comfort, performs with commendable efficacy. The tuck-away straps and hip belt are robustly padded and ergonomically shaped, distributing the load across the body in a manner that mitigates fatigue even during prolonged transit. When the need arises to check the pack or stow it overhead, these straps vanish with elegant simplicity into their designated sleeves, transforming the pack from a hiker's companion into a sleek, snag-free piece of baggage. The additional grab handles situated on the top, bottom, and side further enhance its versatility, offering multiple points of leverage for lifting and maneuvering. In summation, the Allpa 35L Travel Pack - Del Día Dark is not simply a receptacle for possessions; it is an indispensable travel ecosystem. It represents a triumvirate of desirable qualities: uncompromising durability (the shell feels reassuringly rugged), superior organizational features, and a vibrantly ethical aesthetic rooted in sustainable material use. It elevates the packing and travel experience from a logistical burden to an anticipated pleasure. It is, quite frankly, a superb piece of kit.
