I Loved

It’s been the best back pack

Allow 50l

Its weight distribution on the back feels good. The zipper doesn’t close easily on the sides when stuffed full! I got the black not the blue. It’s black matte and the material is very sturdy feeling. I want to exchange for the blue. It’s so sexy looking and seems as sturdy as the Patagonia bag I was looking at. The fanny pack that zips off is insanely large for all the lady stuff I need to pack to look feminine and feel fresh! This bag is better than I thought it would be! Can’t wait to rough it and actually throw this all around because it looks indestructible! I want to get the blue one and am hoping it will be as strong!

Sturdy & Functional

I’ve been using the Cotopaxi 50L all through my South America trip and it’s held up really well through flights, buses, and everything in between. I’ve even taken it on hikes too and it honestly feels really good and stable on the back. The load lifters make a difference, especially when it’s packed out, and it just feels more comfortable, and balanced with its more structured form factor compared to other bags I tried—including Cotopaxi’s og 42L. The zip-off sling is super duper useful to take out during the day or as an easy to access fanny pack throughout. It’s nice to be able to zip it back on the pack(which is smooth process as well) if you only want to carry it as a whole which I really love. This also lets me carry other bags without having another fanny in the front. And when it’s zipped off, you can put your jacket(or other things) on top and secure it with the straps which has come in handy as carrying a pack makes you warm up easily. Overall, a really solid bag & easy to travel with - especially with its flexibility to be 50L or 42L. Excited to use it for future trips & generally when I need a larger bag! It has a bunch of other features too you can check out but I love the structure and flexible sling bag features the most. Interested to see how it holds up as I use it more throughout the year and years to come hopefully!

Allpa 50l Adventure Travel Pack

Beautiful bag with a great fit. I love the colors and the detachable top, which turns into a crossbody bag. Perfect for traveling through airports and backpacking trips alike. It has a spacious interior with multiple pockets to organize and keep your things. Love it. Going on my first trip backpacking through Europe in 3 days!

Allpa, More Like Alpha

This bag is superior to all other bags in the field. It's stylish enough to work as a vacation travel bag for clothes and every day items but functional enough to be an amazing backpacking and camping back for all your survival needs. This bag is truly the best of both worlds and does not increase one to the detriment if the other. Combine with storage and packing bags and the allpa truly shines.

It Could Have Been Five Stars

I have taken my bag on a few trips including one flight. I want to love it but there is a fatal flaw. The top attached bag when zipped on the zippers for that top section face towards the back of the pack. Meaning when you have the main compartment open or the bag lying on its back and you want to open the top part, everything falls out because the openings point down. If they just rotated the top part to attach the opposite direction it would be close to perfect. Unfortunately, this really impacts the usefulness of the bag and for the price drastically decreases my rating. It’s almost like they never tested it in real life because it was immediately apparent to me it should attach the opposite way. The detachable bag is also not very comfortable to wear crossbody. The strap attachments could be angled slightly or improved to make it a better stand alone pack.

Thr Sling Bag Is Smaller

Thr sling bag is smaller than the dimensions you quote b/c of the curved edge. My laptop doesn't fit (by . 5 inch) b/c of this. This is the whole reason I went with this bag for travel. Is there a way to slightly stretch this out?

Perfect Battery For My Safari Trip

I usually travel with a rolling bag weighing about 50 pounds. My Safari trip I was told I could only carry 30 pounds no wheels and no frames to fit in small planes. This bag is perfect for my Safari trip and the fanny pack edition is perfect!

This Pack Gets An Aa ++ From Me

This pack is so well thought out, it is really remarkable. There are zipper pockets in so many places and all of them well positioned and roomy. The backpack strap adjustment system was really easy to use and customize the fit to my back, there are also really well thought out places to stash the straps if you need to check the bag or just don’t want to use them. I LOVE the detachable 8L top sling pack, such a great idea. I am using this for a 2 week trip to Sweden soon and know it will tick all the boxes. Well done Cotopaxi. The only possible addition would be a compression strap or two in the main body of the backpack to help with maximizing space.
