Sombra Is The Best Sun Shirt Hoodie

The Sombra hoodie is the lightest and most comfortable sun shirt. The torso length is short, so it looks sharp on you, not like a long baggy mess. You can be very active on a sunny hot day, and you'll be comfortable and burn free with constant 50 UPF. On top of all the technical benefits, the shirt comes in a lot of great colors. A+++. I own four of these.

Stylish And Functional Sun Protection

I work with a nursery and need daily sun protection that doesn’t look shabby and provides full protection. The cut of this hoodie is perfect. The hood is generous and easily fits over a ball cap which is my favorite look in the hot sun. Purchased in light gray and in the whiskey faded red color.

Sombra Sun Hoodie Very Nice

I have several nice sun hoodies I use for fly fishing and kayaking. The are a thicker material. I bought this for the lighter material as I may swim or snorkel in it as wells as on boats and kayaks. It is a light material, which I like for getting wet. The color is nice, and I like the trim around the hoodie and cuffs. I very nice feature is the zip pocket for keys or a small item. Bring you own waterproof bag to slip in it.

Terrific Sun Blocking Hoodie

I borrowed my husband’s for two weeks on a boat. The first thing I did when I got home was buy my own. These are terrific.

Questionable Or Poor Upf 50+

I wore this Sombra Sun Hoodie by the pool for an afternoon. I had another swim shirt underneath it. I put sunscreen on my face and neck and hands, but not on my shoulders. I wore the shirt all afternoon with the hoodie up. At the end if the day I was burned on my shoulders. This should not have happened if the shirt was truly UPF 50+.
