I purchased a Capa Hybrid Insulated Jacket last year, in a size medium, and was so excited to see newer colors go on sale this year. I loved the form fit of the Capa and couldn’t wait to own more. Unfortunately, the sizing of the Capa hybrid has changed significantly, and even more unfortunate, sales are final purchase. I am swimming in the medium, compared to the previous model (from the previous year). I would have totally sized down to a small had I known they changed the sizing. I’m 5’3, 140lbs and medium is definitely the size for me. If you read this review prior to purchasing, consider sizing down if you’re looking for a form fit, as these jackets now run roomier.

Perfect mix of the waffle thermal and the puffer for a light but mighty effective and packable layer. I keep this and my Teca half-zip in my bag with a beanie, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, snack, and a sun umbrella so I can handle anything the day throws at me.

Good Fit
My only feedback is that the material on the arms feels a bit weird. Not uncomfortable, but unusual. Other than that - it looks good, light, and adventure friendly.

Perfect Midlayer
This jacket is the perfect midlayer. I love the hybrid textures and warmth. My midsection is generally what gets coldest first so this jacket is perfectly designed. The colors are great and I love everything about this jacket.

Warm But Not Too Warm
This is the best lightweight zip up I have ever bought. The chest and back panels are very warm but not too bulky and the material for the arms is very breathable. In the type of person that can over heat easily when moving around so having breathable arms but warmer chest/back is exactly what I’ve been looking for! My favorite part however is the material that is used to the arms. It’s not a super silky material that snags easily and it has an almost quilted texture to it so it provides more warmth than just a regular smooth fabric. Also a plus that it has thumb holes and the sleeves are long enough that the thumb holes don’t pull on your hands uncomfortably. Highly recommend! For reference I am 5’7” and 135 lbs, I ordered a size small

Can’t Wait To Try It Out!
I’ve had my eye on this jacket for a while. After running a winter trail series I decided to buy it for winter training. It fits great and true to size. I bought a small. Sadly, it seems winter is over and I’ll have to be patient for trail running but I have worn it on chilly sunset hikes and it was the perfect weight and warmth.

It Feels Nice And I Look Sharp
I bought this jacket thinking that it would be very tight kind of like a Lululemon top and it was looser than that and more comfortable. I really liked the material of the arms. I was worried that it was gonna feel cheap compared to the vest portion, but it fits really nicely and I like the size of the pockets. I really like the blue one black which I know can be controversial, but I’m very excited. I did order a size up compared to what I normally wear and I like that bagginess even though I still think it’s a slimming.

Perfect For Travel And Work
I travel alot and i get cold very quickly and this jacket is perfext to pack with me. It is small enough to put in backpack and carry with me everywhere. Also, i used it at work, im a nurse and hospital is often cold but when i run around it gets hot so but when sitting down charting i normally get gold right away and jacket is just the perfect one to keep me warm and still comfortable to wear even when im busy saving lives.
