Rated 2 out of 5 by from If you liked the Santa Cruz original I was looking for the same great comfort and roominess as the Santa Cruz this version is not it. Do not like the insole of this shoe as compared to version 1. If you like the relaxed fit of the Santa Cruz you won't find it here. Don't know if the Santa Cruz is being fazed out or not but I'll wait to buy any more of the Santa Cruz loafers until I find out. I won't buy this version again. Just not what I wanted out of this shoe. Going to a brick and mortar store to see and feel the product I buy from now on

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Narrow I am not sure way Crocs decided to change the width of the original Santa Cruz, but the second version is a lot more narrow at the end before the toes. I have 9 pairs of the original Santa Cruz and found them to be the best everyday shoe I have every had. My one complaint was the black/black color was more charcoal gray then black. I still went through 5 pairs because the match the best with what I wear. I just wish the area around the big toe was a little reinforced. My first four pairs all eventually ripped at the big toe area. I was hoping the newer version was going to be better. The color is perfect, finally a true black on black that I can wear with dress pants or jeans. My only complaint is they narrowed the width before the toe area and therefore making the new version is not as comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice I bought 2 pair last year at Christmas and love them, I just bout this pair along with 2 others because of the quality of the shoe. I am diabetic, along with that goes the nerve pain, especially in my feet. So far I have been to hard headed to admit I need diabetic shoes but many days I am on my feet for 8 or 9 hours and short of the diabetic shoes these are the most comfortable shoe I can find, the only shoe that makes walking that long possible for me. These shoes are even tougher and more wear resistant than I would have expected. I recommend that everyone at least try them. I would love to see them in half sizes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Want the old Santa Cruz back I've been a Croc owner for years. I've owned over 10 pairs but in the last 2 years the comfort of the styles (mainly insole) has taken a turn for the worse. I can't find the same shoe I love. Especially the Santa Cruz. Other than the sole wearing out sooner than I want they are my most favorite shoe. I've worn out over 6 pairs. Now I cannot find them anywhere. The new version has a rubber like insole that is uncomfortable unless socks are worn (what's the point) and makes the feet sweat. The old version had a cloth covered foam that worked. While I'm a fan of memory foam the bumpy rubber like covering doesn't work for me. If I'm missing something let me know. I can't find the foam/cloth insole in any style, but prefer the loafer with frayed edges.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable shoe Bought as a casual I could wear to work over the summer. Seems to fit the bill and followed suggestion and bought 1/2 size up as looking for 10 1/2 but purchased 11. Fits fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No consisity The size is tool small. I have 12 from one country and 13 from another and the 13 is smaller than the 12. There is no common size from country to country and you can not pick the country. This is the last time I order one. If I can not find one to try on I will not buy one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A good-looking shoe, but not a good fit Based on the pictures, description and reviews, I really wanted to love these shoes, but alas, they're just too uncomfortable. I had a very difficult time even getting them on my feet. I own a pair of the original Santa Cruz Loafers and they slip on pretty easily. Not these. Even with a shoehorn it was difficult. I wear a size 11 and the length seemed about right, but they are extremely tight and narrow. I guess my feet are just too wide. Also, the extra-soft footbed was not good for my relatively flat feet. Sadly, these are going right back to Crocs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not risk free shopping. Not a good experience. Also not risk free shopping. I ordered these shoes and even a size larger. They were not flexible enough on the tounge to allow my foot to get in without stress. They didn't fit and to return them without purchasing another pair you must pay return shipping. They will take that off of the refund. There is risk and I am now not fond of crocks.
