Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable & Quiet I purchased the newly designed 1377 today (6/5/2016) and it seems perfect. I owned the previous design with the sliding breach and it was effortless. Dead on aim right out of the box but that was probably 30 years ago. Remembering the ease and accuracy, I chose to purchase another one. Still just as quiet and still just as effective. A little more complicated with the adjustable rear sights but after about 5 or 6 rounds it was dead on just like the old days. The old gun shot both BBs and pellets but this new one only seemingly fires pellets but that's not a big deal. I'm using it for small yard pests and I would've likely used pellets for that anyway. Great gun for it's purpose. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a tackdriver ! I bought my first one when they first came out. I had it for years and years. It also shot BB s and pellets.I shot so many BBS I wore the rifling clean out.I saw the 1377 in a store and the price was great. I remembered how well I liked my first one. I like this one even better. It only shoots pellets ,but it is very accurate. I'm old and have bad eyes but I can still shoot a 2 inch group at 40 yards with iron sights.I don't mind the pumping.I've always had pump up air rifles and such.I love this gun just the way it is and don't plan on changing it at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed gun, has tiny flaws its a very well made pistol, I enjoy it and it's very accurate. My one complaint is the beavertail (or whatever the term it for the thing that resting on you hand when you're holding the grip) its squared off, and because of that if you pump it with your hand on the grip like you were aiming it the beavertail pushes into your hand, its a minor issue though and you should just hold the gun sideways while pumping. Also the balance can be a bit funny, it feels front heavy but at this point I'm just nitpicking

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Fun You Can Have With Airgun! Had mine since 2013. An accurate and powerful pistol. Highly recommend getting a carbine stock too as it adds a new dimension to fun. Sights are good though primitive and in normal configuration won't allow fitting other sights. You can add a steel breech to do so or order one from custom shop (Also highly recommended). In the end just hours and hours of fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time Tested! I purchased this pistol in the mid 80's and have enjoyed thousands of accurate, dependable shots with it. It has out performed some of my friends' high dollar .177 and .22 pistols in both accuracy and power. I added the shoulder stock to further enhance the accuracy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great classic Had an early model of this pellet gun decades ago, it was good then and it's great now. It is well made, pumps easily, and very accurate. I only have two mild complaints. First, the trigger pull is a bit hard. The second is that the gun shoots a little high and the travel of the rear sight does not allow for enough movement to completely correct this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from packs a punch I purchased this based on a recommendation from a friend. At this price point, you simply cannot beat the value. The first shot out of the box was a bit of a zinger but the next 6 grouped at around an inch at 25 feet. The crosman also has quite a bit of power and seems to easily meet the advertised 600 fps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old School! I remember a friend having one as a kid, lots of fun. Bought one in 2004, flashback! Old Reliable with plenty of kick, is still going strong. Thinking about another. 600 FPS out of a pistol, can't get any more for twice the price!
