Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely inaccurate! I purchased this for my daughter's 9th birthday. It has been the most inaccurate thing I've ever seen. Shoots badly to the right! I grew up using guns daily. To aim 4 inches to the left of the target at 12 feet is absolutely ridiculous! 760 pumpmaster. 713111508. It's junk! A slingshot would be more accurate!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from does what i asked it to do. killed a swimming cottonmouth from about 30 feet with it. fresh out of the box, mine shoots a little high. took me about a dozen shots to figure out what it was doing. then bye bye snakey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun plinker and great value! This air gun is a good choice for indoor plinking, and much more accurate than expected, for a smoothbore. The light weight is a nice feature, and I really like the current design. The trigger pull is decent, and the pumping effort is so easy. It is very quiet with 2 pumps, and really excels with Destroyer pellets, which tend to grip the target and not ricochet. The 5 pellet magazine just adds to the fun. BB’s are an inexpensive alternative, and it’s good to know they won’t be damaging any rifling when they are used. Since I don’t hunt, I don’t want a powerful air gun, and of course I don’t want to disturb my adjoining neighbors. So for some indoor plinking fun, the quiet little 760 is ideal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the same, but not bad I bought one of the original 760s in the late 1960s. Great gun, I must have shot it 100,000+ times. I developed excellent skills with that gun. Was at the dump the other day and a guy was throwing one of these new 760s away. I asked to have and I brought it home hoping to use some parts to fix my old gun, Nogo, totally different animal. Previous owner said it didn't work and something was stuck in the barrel. I inspected it and cleaned the barrel. Test fired it and it seemed to work. Set up a target and checked accuracy. Horrible, as in failure to hold zero with the scope. Removed the scope, and shot with irons. It had never been zeroed with irons, so got it hitting dead on. Growing up, all I had was iron sights, and even now, I am no slouch with them, but my eyesight is now quite poor. But this thing shot tight groups with 5 pumps, just like I remembered. This gun feels like a kids starter gun, whereas the original actually felt like firearm, with wood stock and steel parts. For the price, this is a good gun to start with, but I would not recommend the scope. I do not like the long lock time the trigger system employs, but it is manageable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could Be Good I bought this for my son for Christmas and as we took it out of the box to try it out all the air that was pumped into leaked out before the first shot was fired. I'd hate to have to take apart a brand new rifle to fix it right out of the box. I'd rate it higher but I haven't shot a single BB to tell if it's accurate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's got to be the most difficult gun to load. It's 1 BB at a time to load. If you loose the pellet loader, the gun is useless. Terrible design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I hoped it would be When i first heard about the new design for the 760 I was hopeful. Maybe a rear sight that is windage adjustable or even put rifling back in the barrel. Instead I get a 760 that is even worse then the last one. It is still somewhat accurate but it falls way short of the advertised velocity mine averaged 457.8 about equal to second variation 760 but that air gun has a feel of quality not light and cheap. The next time you re design an air gun try to make it better than the previous version.I own all but one model variation and this one is the least desirable of them all. the clip is sad too and unnecessary . A fast second shot from a multi- pump is virtually impossible . I do understand that you want to keep your entry level air guns afforda ble but they should also provide a fully positive experience. I don't feel this one does. I will recommend Crosman air guns to others (I own many) I cant recommend this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Air! Worked great for about a year and half then like other buyers say it has no air pressure after pumping up. I thought it was supposed to last longer than it did. I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with it.
