True black is NOT black, it's dark gray. My black daily wools from 5ish years ago show a definite difference. Shoes also feel lighter and cheaper than they used to. I can't objectively back up that claim, though. Also, I can't return these because it was a final sale purchase so I'm kind of screwed. To top it off, the coupon they send with the shoes is expired by a month. I've been an avid TM customer for years but am not really not impressed with the quality control anymore. 3 stars because they still look good and are overall comfortable enough.
