One Of My Go To 3” Paddle Tails

Myself and several friends nicknamed it “old faithful” we’ve caught more snook, trout, and reds on the silver mullet color than any other 3” paddle tail. I like to pair with z-man trout eye or texas eye jig heads 1/8, 3/16, or 1/4 oz, the doa brand jig heads work great aswell.

Redfish And Snook Killer!

These baits are absolutely deadly when worked near seawalls and mangroves. Rig them with a D.O.A. 1/8 Jig Head, use a twitching retrieve, and hold on!

They Get Bites

Used these for years in Florida in the Intercoastal and surf. They work for many species - btw, they glow in the dark, making them excellent for night or early morning use.

They Catch Fish,but

They do catch fish. But they tails get bit off a little to easily.

Caught Flounder

I used these D.O.A. baits in root beer color with chartreuse tails for flounder fishing in Apalachee Bay, which is the northeastern Gulf of Mexico south of Tallahassee, Florida. When I used the bait, the bay was filled with darkly stained water from the runoff from recent storms. These baits seem to be about the same size as the mud minnows that flounders are known to eat. Anyway, these D.O.A.s worked, and I caught a lot of flounder. However, I think I had better success with Gulp shrimp, but Gulp shrimp tend to be less durable and more expensive.
