    The Daiwa Ballistic MQ LT feels solid in hand and has a smooth drag. There isn't any slop in the handle or gears. It's what you'd expect for a reel in this price range.

    Great Reel But…

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice reel. It’s light weight and sturdy but I don’t feel that it’s the same quality as the Shimano Vanford, of which I have three. If I had to do it again, I would spend the extra $20 and get the Vanford.
