Just A Darn Good Rod.

I just picked up a second one of these because I was at Dicks and they had a fresh one on the rack. I have some real workhorse rods and I bought one on a coupon one day. It just works nice cast, holds its own on the dock. I still like a good fg blank. They have a different feel and response. So just get one for your kit and you’ll see it’s a good one! Dave

Great Rod For The Price

I thought this might be too big to feel smaller fish but I was wrong. It’s very responsive and it’s a great surf rod for the money.

For the $30 they are the best out there. Pair with a cheap quantum optic size 60 and 30 pound braid. They will cast 100 yards with a 3 oz pyramid sinker and a pce of cut lady fish or shrimp! Handles fish with ease.

Bought this to have an extra rod for a guest that was just going to use to fish bait off NJ surf. Didn’t expect much at this price point but very serviceable. Felt like guides could be a little larger but seems to perform as needed.
