A Clearance Bargain

I bought the rod/reel combo on clearance at Dicks. Very nice combo. Cast great. Very little backlash. The only issue I have is with the rod. The very last eye is so small, it’s almost impossible to tie on a leader.

Good Enough

I'm a big fan of Daiwa stuff and when I saw this I picked it up immediately but I was quickly disappointed with the rod. The rod feels way to soft to be a Medium Heavy power and the action of the rod isn't fast enough to help with how flexible the rod is. Reel was pretty good and I was pleased with it. Overall it will do the job for new anglers but the rod is spongy and you can barely feel anything.

Great Rod At A Great Price!

Just picked this up and was 20% off. Backlashed on first cast and didn’t happen again once dialed in. It’s very light which won’t wear you out. You can fling this thing too. Highly recommended!
