Nice For The Price

Purchased a 2500 for a new rod I have, the reel performance is very good , drag is also very smooth. All around a good reel, I also have a Shimano Sedona 2500, I think the line Sedona lays the line on the reel a little nicer and is a bit more comfortable for $10 more. I would definitely recommend the Regal though, it's a great reel.

Favorite Budget Reel!

I have purchased many of these reels in the past year as it has become my favorite under $100 reel. It cast smooth, the drag never sticks, and sounds amazing. I use the 2500 and 3000 size for large mouth bass.

New Favorite Spinning Reel

Brilliant reel, super lightweight, super smooth. Feels very well built with a great drag system. Incredibly deep spool, which really helps it match up similar to a 4000+ reel in line capacity.

Worked Great

Bearing seized up after 3 months of use in fresh water only, never dropped the reel in the water. When it was working it was a great reel not sure if id buy it again

Great Reel For A Great Price

I bought the 3000 size reel to do some bass fishing and inshore and it's been performing great. The other day I hooked into a massive red in a pond and it ran straight for open water, taking out about 120 yds of line. I was worried about being spooled, but thankfully this drag stack had my back and I was able to fine tune it in order to put just enough pressure to control the fish and not break off.

Handle

I bought this not even 2 weeks ago the handle bends after 1 drop, this has happened with 2 of my daiwa spinning reels and might be switching over to shimano especially after this

Great Look And Performance But One Issue

My reel has a weird clicking or tapping sound coming from the handle itself. I suspect its a bearing in the handle. But it doesnt seem to affect performance.
