Great Boot Except For The Tongue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tongue is thin with no padding and it refuses to lay flat & smooth. Instead, it wrinkles and forms folds that put uncomfortable pressure on the tendons under the surface of my instep. This is probably caused by my flat feet that virtually have no arch. I would have returned the boots, but they were so comfortable otherwise that I decided to keep them and use my thickest socks to mitigate problems with the tongue.

Break in is brutal because the leather is tough and stiff but that is what you need for work boots. Carry some band aids for blisters your first week. I’ve worn mine for one week and they are really starting to feel good.
