They were very comfortable right out of the box, no issues with the tongue as I saw in some other reviews, little bit of rubbing above my heel, just need to condition more to soften up a bit. Look great (gotta be a little vain) and seem like they will be great on the trail. Planning to update after some summer camping trips.
