The Inner Malleoli Of Both
The inner malleoli of both my feet are still bruised and blistered after trying my best for some weeks to carefully break in the boots. The leather is still so stiff and unmalleable that at this point, the only way that I can wear the boots without significant pain is to tighten only the lower half of the laces and to leave the rest undone. I'm disappointed because I bought my first pair of Danner boots in 1999 and wore them for 26 years. I replaced the soles whenever they wore out. Finally, the leather disintegrated or else I would still be wearing them. I guess the newer version that I bought just isn't good for my feet.

Too Narrow, Ordered An Ee
Too narrow, ordered an EE but fit tighter than most D boots. Great looking boot, just too narrow and hard to put on

These Boots Were Really Nice
These boots were really nice and comfortable out of the box. The only problem was they were made a few years ago and there was damage to the heel of one of the boots. As there was also green staining on the side of the sole of the boot. Otherwise I would've kept these boots. They fit was better than expected.

After Only A Dozen Or
After only a dozen or so hours of wear they feel good overall. The toe cap is a little tight in the width but that may loosen up a little. If only they were made in the US.
