Very comfortable, drain water fast and dry out in moderate time, the lace pocket on the tongue is the best idea ever

They are excellent boots. Comfortable and made very well. I have had 4 pairs so far.

I have been buying a version of this boot every year for 15 years, and love them right out of the box every time, as they fit perfect and stand up to very hard work.

The captive laces make getting into and out of the boots more difficult and take much longer. On my boots, there is a pinch point where the laces transition from the round eyelets over the instep to the shaft. I prefer the lacing system found on my old Pronghorn boots.

Boots were incredibly uncomfortable--inside part of the eyelets not padded properly which caused the eyelets to beat the heck out of my ankles. Would not recommend these boots to anyone.

Boot is very good for the price point. I have rather bony ankles so where the flex point is on the leather on the outside gets bunched up and causes a pressure point making me lace them very loosely. That said, after a couple months I don't think they're fully broken in yet so that may subside. Otherwise, very sturdy sole making traversing questionable terrain easy. If you have weak ankles, don't expect these to save you as they have good mobility and a very stiff sole. I really like the elastic lace keeper. I considered the Tachyons for their weight but decided to go with a lined boot because of my foot shape and ankle structure. The toe box is comfortably wide and I have no hot spots on my heel. I originally tried the Sonic but had to return them because they failed to break in and had other issues (wearing holes in the heel of my socks and my feet, stitching disintegrating etc. ) but these have been great so far. Background: ran the Rivot TFX for 4 years until they were no longer coyote but more sand. Well loved and still very functional but decided it was time for a more presentable boot.

I absolutely love this boot. The perfect hot weather boot

Takes a few days to break in and feel comfortable.

I purchased these boots and the waterproof version. The waterproof apparently runs smaller. I'm still "breaking" these boots in but for far they feel much better than the other waterproof set. Fits my width more comfortably and more true to size with length.

The outsole of the left boot separated from the boot on the second day of wear. These boots are of a cemented construction, rather than sewn (like most military/tactical boots). They weren’t even broken in yet. I’ve had a good experience with Danner overall but I would not purchase this particular boot again.

Have been a Danner Boot man for over 30 years. In my opinion one of the best boots made, if not the best boot made. Highly recommend Danner for military and hunting! Great company and great product!!

The boot runs narrow even with the added width and they were simply uncomfortable.

Best pair of boots I’ve ever had and extremely light-weight. I’ve been wanting this brand for a while and finally decided to give it a try. Well worth it!

My son loves them! He’s not a boot lover…but Danner changed his mind! Thank you!

I work as a land surveyor and walk / hike several hours a day. The terrain is often uneven and rocky. I also tend to have "hot" feet. Any boot with a "water proof" label are guaranteed to have me feet wet from sweat within 2 hours. These boots keep my feet dry, cool, and comfortable. I've been working outside in work boots for 35 years, and I've worked all over the world. These might be the best boots I've ever had. I still need to judge the durability, but so far, so good. Traction is also excellent in snowy conditions. Thanks for a great boot!!
