Best Rucking Boots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bad boys feel like sneakers, which is exactly what you want. They offer some limited ankle support, but they're light as a feather. One pound on your feet is like 5 on your back. And they're durable too.

Great Boot But Significant Ankle Pinch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Danner makes an excellent boot that is comfortable to stand in, with good traction, sturdy sole, quality construction, and the boot is fairly lightweight. The removable insole is excellent quality. It fits like a comfortable boot. There are two main drawbacks. 1) The boot is smaller than an average size, so order 1/2 size up from your normal shoe/boot size and definitely go for a wide version if you have anything but narrow or regular feet. 2). The boot has a MAJOR bilateral ankle pinch point (both ankles on both sides of each ankle). This occurs especially when bending forward but also when walking and is due to the thick leather over the angle from forefoot to above the ankle. You can see in pictures that it is basically where the eyelets change in type. The pain is intense, does not alleviate quickly, and likely would not until the boot had really been worn in if ever. I returned my pair as ankle pinch is no fun and there are many other brands that do not have such ankle pinch.

The Jury's Still Out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had these for about a month and to start, they had a pretty biting ankle pinch going on. After a little break-in, the right one seems fine but the left one is still pinching some. If that subsides I can say these boots are good - if it doesn't - I wasted a pile of loot.

Pretty Dang Happy...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this boot a while ago and have been wearing it daily for work. I'm basically hiking with it. Very comfortable right out of the box. Hopefully it will be a long lasting boot, as I usually destroy shoes within a year. Nothing else I've had comes close for being good at everything.

Exactly What I Was Looking For!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a consumate Danner fan. I was looking for a lighter weight, summer/spring/fall boot, that is it! It was a wee bit tight when first purchased, but is breaking in nicely. I expect that these boots will be as durable and comfortable as the other Danner's I have.
