I am really tough on socks & this has become my go-to vendor for all styles. These are great for hiking, for walking, OR for just wearing around the house when it is freezing cold & you have hardwood floors! They are very warm but you can also wear them working out & NEVER get that "hot feet" feeling. The ball of foot & heel padding is delicious. Field Tested - In The Grand Canyon!
