Rated 5 out of 5 by from DBX Infant Shockwave Life Vest I used this product this weekend at the beach and it worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great life vest We went a little overboard (as many people do with their first child) and bought this life vest for canoeing. It worked great the 1 time our son was in a canoe that tipped, he wasn't even under water long enough for it to bother him, he just popped right up with his face out of the water and was as happy as could be!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DBX Infant Shockwave Life Vest This is a great life vest for an infant. The vest has plenty of room for growth and very easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is the perfect Life Vest I purchased this vest for my 4 month old son so we could go on a boat ride for 4th of July. I wanted one that would float him face up, and this fit the bill perfectly. He was able to lay down and nap while the boat was moving.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fits newborns! We purchased this for our 3 wk old, who weighed about 7.5 lbs at the time. I looked online at first a little, to see if there was one that had better reviews for such a small baby but I didn't have time to order one, as it was a last minute planned excursion, planned by out of town family. We maybe go out on the water one time a year, if that. We have 2 local sporting goods stores, Dicks, and another one. I don't like the other one, so I went to Dicks because they are nicer and more knowledgeable about their store and products. They had another infant one, that was less than half the price, but it didn't seem as well made and seemed more flimsy. I also like that this one had 2 straps across the crotch, instead of one. I was doubtful that this one would really fit a baby that small, since it does go up to 30 lbs, and my 4 yr old doesn't weight much more than that. I wish I'd taken a photo. The vest did cinch down small enough that I felt comfortable with the fit. It was kind of a challenge to get his arms in the holes once I cinched the straps. I even felt like he was in there tight enough to hold the vest by the loop at the top. He was only in there long enough for me to show my husband. I don't know that he would have been happy in the vest long term though, and I don't know that I would have been able to breastfeed him with him in the vest. It was more challenging to hold him in the vest. He and I ended up not going out on the boat, and that's ok. I had it if I had needed it and felt comfortable with the fit. Even though I'm notoriously frugal and cheap, I am giving this 5 on value, because I don't skimp when it comes to my children's safety.
