At 40 years old, I’ve been feeling a desire to reconnect with some of the activities I enjoyed in my younger years, including rollerblading and ice skating. I decided to go rollerblading first before hitting the ice, and while I was at the store buying my rollerblades I saw these wrist guards. I almost passed on them because I thought the price was a little high, but I’m really glad I went ahead and got them. While trying to do a crossover, a move I used to be able to easily perform, my skate caught my other skate and send me falling down on my rear end. I put my arms straight out behind me to catch myself. I felt a big pop in my upper arm and a lot of pain in my shoulder, but my wrists are fine. After an ER visit and imaging, I’ve torn some soft tissue in my upper arm, but these wrist guards made it so I didn’t break any bones or injure my wrist. Judging from the deep scratches in the metal, one or both of my wrists and hands would likely have been very injured. I’m incredibly sore today but I just keep thinking about how much worse it’d have been without the wrist guards. If you’re on the fence, I definitely recommend them, at least until you have your balance back! And if, like me, you’re 40 and not in peak physical shape, don’t be like me and decide you still know how to do skills from 25 years ago on the first day…your muscle memory is probably lying. 😂

Can I use these for riding my e-bike? Had surgery last year for a torn ligament and now I know I will break it next time? Thanks!

After having wrist surgery from a bike accident, I bought these wrist guards and have the confidence to ride on!!
A must for using inline skates to protect from breaking a wrist or road rash if you fall.

I LOVE THESE! I'm an aggressive inline skater and falling is just bound to happen. These let me catch myself without fear of breaking my wrist. The elastic around the tumb isn't super tight and the velcro strap holds the brace in place. They are really good for heavy impact falls or slides. I totally recommend.

Product ideal for rollerskating or rollerblading wrist protection.very reasonable price. Might run small, bought for my 13 yo daughter who is petite.

I'm 5'3'' 135lbs. My wrists aren't really thick or thin. These fit perfectly. They're not exactly comfortable, but I'm not assuming any wrist guards are comfortable. I'm just glad to be safe when I'm skating.

we needed bigger ones for my son , and those are easy to attach, fit well and seem very solid.

Seemed really secure and durable. Then I fell, both guards nearly ripped off my hand. Wasn't even that bad of a fall, but clearly the cloth material isn't of high enough quality to withstand any kind of stress.

Great price, easy to get on, and most importantly, they do the job of protecting my kid's wrist while he skates.

I bought for my daughter for the amount of time she spends on rollerblades. She felt mine were too stiff and she was needing to take off often because hands were overheating and sweaty. These wrist guards are breathable with the mesh material along the sides. She wears them daily for hours on the bike path. She's 13 and manages to wear and tear everything but these are holding up well.
